dw. is a sub-studio within deckworks that operates at the intersection of architecture, design, and fabrication. It was established as a space to translate architectural thinking into everyday objects, allowing ideas typically explored at the scale of buildings to be tested through smaller, more immediate forms. Working entirely through an in-house process, dw. moves from concept development to fabrication and assembly with a direct relationship between design intent and execution.
Each piece produced by dw. is developed in small batches and conceived with an emphasis on design clarity, durability, and ease of installation. The studio prioritizes objects that function precisely, install intuitively, and integrate seamlessly into real spaces. In this way, dw. functions as both an extension of deckworks’ architectural practice and a testing ground for ideas about use, construction, and longevity at a more intimate scale.
